David Moyes is expected to recall Mikel Arteta after the midfielder missed the opening weekend with a foot injury, but Seamus Coleman misses out with a damaged ankle.
QPR face another tough fixture after last week's 4-0 hammering at the hands of Bolton. Neil Warnock is without Keiron Dyer (ankle) and Clint Hill (suspension) for the trip.
QPR are without the suspended Clint Hill, who was sent off last Saturday, so Matt Connelly is expected to deputise.
Keiron Dyer's ankle injury will keep him side-lined until at least next week but Kaspars Gorkss is included.
