Kick-off is at 4pm GMT. Live coverage is on Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports 1 HD. Radio commentary of the match is on BBC Radio 5 Live. Catch the highlights on Match of the Day 2 on BBC One and BBC One HD at 10:30pm GMT.

Overview

Everton come into the fixture after a 3-4 defeat at the hands of Stoke City in the last fixture. Despite taking the lead on two occasions, the Merseyside club failed to seal three points as a late penalty from Marko Arnautovic saw the Potters seal three points.

The Toffees' last win at Goodison Park was on 21 November, which was a 4-0 victory over Aston Villa. Roberto Martinez will be hoping his side can bounce back and start the new year on a positive note with a victory over the north London side.

Tottenham are enjoying a great run in recent times as they have won four out of their last five matches played in all competitions. In the last fixture, they sealed a 2-1 victory over Watford at Vicarage Road.

Mauricio Pochettino has helped his side move into the top four with the recent run. Spurs have conceded four goals in last five fixtures and the Argentine manager will be looking for a fourth straight win when Tottenham face Everton on Sunday.
