Qualifying Review
The Mercedes are the team to beat yet again, after Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg completed a ninth front row lock out of the season. Hamilton beat Rosberg to pole by the exact same margin as the German beat the Briton to pole in Japan.
However, this time around the Williams of Bottas was much closer and had a chance to knock one of the Mercedes' from the front row. But in the end he had to settle for third. His teammate Filipe Massa had wretched day as he struggled with fuel pump issues and could only manage a lowly 18th on the grid.
The McLaren and Toro Rosso are the teams to watch as they surprised all with their sudden pace and and managed to qualify both cars in the top ten.
Russian Daniil Kvyat secured his best qualifying result in F1, which is sure to delight the home crowd ahead of tomorrow's race.
