Qualifying Review
Despite the threat from Ferrari and Red Bull to Mercedes, when it was needed, the German team raised their pace and locked out the front row yet again, ahead of the two Red Bull racing cars.
Ferrari's Fernando Alonso was the main threat to Mercedes after topping FP1 and FP3, but in the end could only manage the fifth place.
The Williams team which struggled for pace on Friday, made some gains on Saturday, but had to settle for the sixth and eighth places on the grid.
Jenson Button was again pipped by team-mate Kevin Magnussen, after the Briton missed out on Q3.
It was a similar case in the Toro Rosso camp after Daniel Kvyat beat his team-mate, to take up the final spot in the top 10.
