Fans freak out over Rita Ora's dramatic new blonde makeover: 'Look… a new spice girl'
Body On Me singer wore her hair in high-rise pigtails with bangs, giving off major 90's feels.
Rita Ora showcased an eye-catching makeover, trading her ombre-styled hair for a dramatic blonde look in her latest Insatgram post. In the process, however, the British songstress brought back major 90s feels, reminding fans of baby spice aka Emma Bunton, vocalist of the popular girl band Spice Girls.
In fact, 26-year-old Ora further teased her Spice Girl look by sharing the lyrics of the 1996 classic Wannabe – that bagged an award at the MTV VMAs – in the descriptions. "Tell me what you want a what you really really want," she wrote in the caption, adding #babyspice and #sexpress alongside.
However, it wasn't just Ora's oh-so blonde hair colour that got fans into a reminiscing mode. The Body On Me singer even complemented her baby spice look by putting in minute details like the high-rise pigtails and bangs falling all over her forehead.
And if that wasn't enough, Ora went on to add a little spice in the form of her suggestive tee-shirt that read "sexpress" in bold capital letters.
Unsurprisingly, the picture has been well received by most of Ora's social media followers, who flocked to her Insatgram to share raving messages. So much so, that within hours, the evocative click has garnered over 90,000 likes.
"Look @officialmelb you have a new spice girl," one fan wrote in the comments section tagging former Spice Girl Melanie Brown. As the flurry of comments continued, several others drew interesting comparisons, at the same time complementing the singer on her bold new look.
"Now that is a lovely picture .and the hair is gorgeous," shared one of her followers, as a second simply wrote, "Hotstuff".
"How can you slay in everything?" a curious fan shared. "Only word for this is wow. You are stunning," added another.
From the round of fan reactions, it looks like, Ora was right on point with her Spice Girls-inspired style, as many referred to the five-piece pop band in the comments, writing, "Baby spice vibes."
