Kim Kardashian appears as Virgin Mary on new Kimoji, fans call it 'a sacrilege and disgrace'

Fans are furious over Kim Kardashian's latest 'Kimoji' that depicts her as Virgin Mary. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star shared the image on her Kimoji Instagram page on Thursday (20 April).
The image shows the reality TV star's face superimposed on the side of a Kim candle – with a halo around her head and flowers in front of her against a blue sky as backdrop.
She captioned the image, "Don't sleep on the Kim candle. Almost sold out. More from this collection coming soon."
Social media users called the 36-year-old reality star "disrespectful" and slammed her for using a sacred image to promote herself.
"I am a catholic and I was a fan of your whole family. I watched every season and by seeing this, it has made me so angry. So disrespectful. Do you not realize Catholics make up about 50% of Christians," one user wrote.
Another said, "This is highly offensive and gravely disrespectful to mock the faith of billions of believers! This is both a sacrilege and disgrace. You worship money and fame not God or our Blessed Virgin Mother Mary. This is soooo wrong on so many levels!"
"Truthfully, all this stuff is a total shock to me. Really thought you had more class. Come on really is this a Joke or are you Broke? And Khloe with the way over priced jeans. I know you guys can come up with something better., and if not just don't, you really don't need to. It's all for the rich or well off. Try and come up with something a lot of us can afford," a third fan wrote.
Meanwhile, the 36-year-old was spotted recently filming for Keeping Up With the Kardashians in Los Angeles. She was seen sporting a black mini-dress during the outing with her two siblings Kourtney and Khloe.
