Fans go wild over Jamie Dornan's crotch in Northern Ireland tourism photo: 'Look at that view'
Actor posed against a picturesque landscape to promote Northern Ireland tourism.
Fifty Shades of Grey's Jamie Dornan is no stranger to women's attention – thanks to his role as the dark and brooding Christian Grey.
But little did the actor know that his seemingly innocent image by the side of a golf course would cause a Twitter meltdown, with fans obsessing over what they now call a "spectacular view".
The controversial picture in question was shared by official Twitter handle of Northern Ireland tourism board and it showed the actor posing in front of a picturesque landscape. But, instead of focusing on the stunning scenery, fans seemed to be stuck on the massive "bulge" in Dornan's fitted trousers.
"Look at that view! #CausewayCoastalRoute #DiscoverNI #DDFIrishOpen," the accompanying photo caption read, but fans of the 35-year-old actor were quick to interpret the "view" with a double meaning. Poking fun at the "distracting" bulge in Dornan's trousers, one user joked, "No idea but the view over to Inishowen looks great," with a wink emoji.
"Hadn't noticed Inishowen in the background as the foreground interest was holding my attention," a second user commented, while another joked, "Something distracting in the foreground...that pole bottom left is drawing our eye."
"Spectacular view! Landscape and beach aren't bad either," someone else shared. The flurry of comments continued with eagle-eyed fans using the opportunity to poke some x-rated fun.
Sadly for fans, the cause of the "bulge" was nothing close to erotic, rather a golf ball that Dornan was carrying in his pocket.
"I wonder if he realizes he left a golf ball in his pocket?" finally someone wrote sorting out the confusion that had become a source of mirth on Twitter. Yet admirers continued with the bout of dual-intended comments.
One Twitter user shared, "It's all about the Landscape for me - Great View!"
"The landscape or Mr Dornan?" wrote another taunting Dornan's bulge.
