Nick Carter revealed on social media that his brother Aaron threatened to kill his family so he did the only thing he could to prevent that from happening. He filed a restraining order which has already been served to his brother.

Nick took to Twitter to reveal that Aaron recently confessed to"harbouring thoughts and intentions" of killing his pregnant wife and their unborn child. The singer, along with their sister Angel, took it as a threat to his family's safety so he was "left with no choice but to take every measure possible to protect ourselves and our family."

The singer said he and Angel made this difficult decision because of Aaron's "increasingly alarming behavior." He shared that he still loves his brother and hopes that he gets the treatment he needs before he harms himself or anyone else. Nick included the hashtag #mentalhealth, #guncontrolnow, and #guncontrol to his post.

Aaron has since responded to his brother's restraining order and ranted about it on Twitter. He also shared some very interesting details about their relationship and wished to never see Nick again. He said the restraining order is useless as he has not seen Nick in four years. He also called bluff on the accusations and said that he never wished harm to anyone especially his family.

The 31-year old said he has been the "good one" in the family. He went to their sister's wedding and to their sister's funeral and Nick was a no-show in both. Aaron also revealed that he loaned his brother $100,000 when he was nearly broke.

I am astounded at the accusations being made against me and I do not wish harm to anyone, especially my family.

Restraining order says stay 100 feet away
It’s been thousands of miles for years
Using the court system to shake me down
Worked on some girls but won’t work on me
Good night all

Aaron then blurted out some very serious allegations against his brother and called him a woman-beater. He also responded to questions about Nick's alleged rape scandal. All the while Aaron dishes on the family's dirty laundry, Nick has remained silent.

https://t.co/9pUts2WLJM #COVERUP #metoo I was only 15!! And a lot of the facts in that report are twisted. He knew. Thank you @aaroncarter for being there for me!

Regardless of who is telling the truth or not, netizens want the brothers to stop hurting each other. One netizen even asked that they go to family counseling, while others suggest that they take their family matters off social media.

There were some who did not appreciate Nick putting it out on Twitter. Instead, he should have helped his brother out. Another called Nick a liar for saying he still loves his brother because what he did is not out of love.

Meanwhile, there were others who agreed with what Nick did in order to protect his family. They also voiced their concerns for Aaron and asked that he seek medical help.

Aaron, on the other hand, received well-wishes for his continued healing from his physical and mental problems. There were those who sided with him and also shared similar stories. It's not all good reactions for Aaron though, as there are also those who bashed him.

I think your brother is the psychotic one. He ever get help for beating women? How’s his wife? How’s his anger problem? He posts on social media like he has this perfect life...get over yourself @nickcarter Fix yourself like your brother is. He’s at least facing the issue.

Needless to say, all the fans want is for these brothers to fix their family matters privately and not take it on social media. They need intervention before any harm can be done.
