Fans are more convinced than ever that Rita Ora is "Becky with the good hair" after her pictures with Conor McGregor from the British Fashion Awards were disrespectfully captioned with "date night".

Ora, 27, shared two rather inappropriate photos, which featured the pair snuggled up together at a table during the awards ceremony in London, and sent Twitter into uproar.

One man replied to McGregor, who has a seven-month-old son with childhood sweetheart Dee Devlin, saying: "You've got a fine Irish steak at home mate. No need to ruin it with a McDonald's."

Though he is not married, McGregor, 29, has been in a long-term relationship with Devlin since 2008, and he has credited her for supporting him throughout his career, which has seen him go from unemployment benefits to a £62m superfight with Floyd Mayweather in just five years.

And now Ora, who previously denied having an affair with Jay-Z after it was claimed that she was the other woman Beyoncé had referred to on Lemonade, has come under fire once again.

After her latest controversial post with the Irish UFC star, the public have taken to Twitter to claim she is indeed "Becky with the good hair" – the mystery woman who has become one of the biggest enigmas in pop culture.

One person said: "Rita Ora is trying to be McGregors Becky with the good hair. I'm so glad Mayweather knocked his ass out cold."

Another put: "seems like becky with the good hair is back at it again".

While a third added: "Date night with a married man? Yep you're definitely Becky with the "good hair"."

Ora, who started her career with Jay-Z's label Roc Nation, previously said of the affair reports: "I never usually address tabloid gossip but let me be clear, these rumours are false.

"I have nothing but the upmost respect for Beyonce. Let's continue enjoying Lemonade."

A source close to the star also said: "Rita is absolutely mortified and really angry about the comments being made about her.

"She has received a lot of online abuse and it is completely unfounded."

Ora has since removed "date night" from her caption on Instagram following the criticism, but is yet to delete the Twitter post.
