FC Midtjylland vs Manchester United, Europa League 2015/16: Where to watch live, preview, betting odds and possible XI
FC Midtjylland take on Manchester United in the midweek Europa League clash at MCH Arena, Herning, on 18 February (Thursday).
Where to watch live
Kick-off is at 6pm GMT. Live coverage of the match will be available on BT Sport 2.
Overview
After winning the first league title in the history of the club, the Danish champions are on the lookout to create an upset in the Europa League. The clash against United is likely to be the biggest fixture so far for Midtjylland.
Their recent run has not been convincing as they just registered their first win of the calendar year after defeating Horsens 4-2 at home. Their poor run has seen them sit third in the league table with 31 points, trailing leaders Copenhagen by four points.
United come into this fixture after a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Sunderland, which was their first defeat against the Black Cats at the Stadium of Light in the Premier League era. They will be looking to bounce back when they face the Danish outfit.
Louis van Gaal will be without the services of 13 players and that includes striker Wayne Rooney. The United captain picked up a knee injury, which could keep him out of action for six weeks. This leaves Anthony Martial and Will Keane as the only strikers in the squad.
