Danny Welbeck set the steamroller rolling by scoring the opener on five minutes, followed by Nani (28 minutes) and Ryan Giggs (43 minutes) before half time. Giggs scored his first Premier League goal of the season.
Wayne Rooney and Dimitar Berbatov added one goal each in the final three minutes of the game, sealing a decisive win for their side.
Berbatov's 90-minute backheel finish, that originated from an Antonio Valencia cross, was a remarkable one. Rooney's goal, which came from 35 yards, too was a classy affair.
