Milan Vice-President Says Fergie is 'In Love' with Superkid
AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani says Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson loves striker Stephan El Shaarawy but that the 19 year old is not available.
El Shaarawy has scored four goals for Milan already this season amid a difficult start to the season for the Rossenari.
Milan saw a number of their star names, including Thiago Silva and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, leave the club in the summer but Galliani is refusing to allow El Shaarawy become the next big name exit.
"Let's hope Ferguson will stay in love with him, but it's not in our thoughts to sell him," said Galliani.
"I'd like to give peace of mind to supporters, considering we have recently renewed his deal until 2017."
The Italy international has netted against Udinese, Cagliari and Parma this season and is set to be a talismanic figure this season as the club look to rebuild following a summer of significant losses.
His agent Roberto La Florio says he has had no contact with United over his client.
"I have had no contact with the United," he told tuttomercatoweb.com. "The player has been secured by AC Milan and he is happy to play for them. He has always dreamed it.
"He has to keep both feet on the ground, thinking about this club which trusted in him, and that he's paying off with these performances."
United did add to their front line in the summer with the addition of Robin van Persie, and despite the Dutchman having already struck four times this season since his switch from Arsenal, the 12-time Premier League champions are yet to hit their straps this term.
The club travel to FC Cluj in the Champions League on Tuesday hoping to avoid one of the biggest shocks in the competition's history against a Romanian side who have won five successive European games, including their opening group match against Braga.
The Old Trafford club's task has been made all the more difficult with the absence of Michael Carrick and Ryan Giggs with a virus while Paul Scholes has been rested and Antonio Valencia has an ankle problem.
