Fifa 17 demo out now on PS4, Xbox One and PC
Sample the latest gameplay additions and new single player story mode The Journey.
Football fans can now download the demo for EA Sports' Fifa 17 on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 ahead of the game's full release at the end of the month. The demo includes a small portion of single-player story mode The Journey.
Also included in the demo is the customary Kick Off mode allowing players to sample the latest additions to gameplay, three single player Skill Games to play during load times and four new multiplayer Skill Games.
You can download the Xbox One demo here and the PS4 demo here.
Twelve teams are available to play as in Kick Off mode, including three Premier League sides, a La Liga outfit, two Serie A representatives, two Ligue 1 teams, Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich and additional teams from around the globe.
There are three stadiums: Seattle's CenturyLink Field, Chelsea's Stamford Bridge and Japan's Suita City Football Stadium.
The Journey is a first for Fifa, a story mode focusing on its players taking control of a fictitious up-and-coming footballer in the Marcus Rashford mould.
Players will be able to guide his career through decisions that impact who they play for and relationships with other players and managers. They will also, naturally, be able to influence the game through their performances on the pitch.
In the demo (which is only available on Xbox One and PS4) players will be limited to playing for Manchester United for a small portion of the story.
Here's a list of the teams players can play as in Kick Off mode.
- Manchester United
- Manchester City
- Chelsea
- Real Madrid
- Juventus
- Inter
- Paris Saint-Germain
- Olympique Lyonnais
- Seattle Sounders
- Bayern München
- Tigres U.A.N.L. (MX)
- Gamba Osaka
Fifa 17 will be released in full on 29 September.
