Bosnia and Herzegovina will take on Iran in Group F clash of the 2014 Fifa World Cup at Arena Fonte Nova, Salvador on Wednesday.

Where to Watch Live

The kick-off is set for 5pm BST. Live coverage is on ITV 4. Radio commentary of the game will be available on BBC Radio 5 Live.

Overview

Bosnia and Herzegovina come into this tie after suffering a narrow 1-0 defeat at the hands of Nigeria. Peter Odemwingie's goal just before the half hour mark was the difference between the two sides in the end.

This result comes after they lost their opening World Cup fixture 2-1 to Argentina and with the defeat against Nigeria, Safet Susic's men are out of the summer tournament. The final game against Iran is a dead rubber as the outcome will not have any impact for Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Meanwhile, Iran also enter this fixture after suffering a defeat at the hands of Argentina. The South American nation struggled for the most part of the match to break Carlos Queiroz's side's defence.

However, a brilliant solo effort from Barcelona star Lionel Messi in the stoppage time saw Argentina seal a crucial three points. With that result, Iran are third in the group table with just a point, trailing second place Nigeria by three points.

For Iran to qualify for the next round, they need to win their fixture against Bosnia and Herzegovina and hope Argentina can do a favour to them by defeating Nigeria in the other fixture scheduled for the day on Wednesday.

What Managers Say

Safet Susic (Bosnia and Herzegovina): "I was told there was no offside but it's not the first or last time a referee has made a bad decision at this World Cup and it won't be the last. We lost to a good side, Nigeria played better than against Iran."

Carlos Queiroz (Iran): "It should have been a penalty and red card [Pablo Zabaleta challenge on Ashkan Dejagah]. There's no excuse. There's nothing that can explain (why) this Serbian referee (did) not give the penalty. How can this guy sleep tonight, or for the rest of his life?. With all respect, I would like to have the opportunity to have a one-on-one conversation with him. Why did he do that to us?"
