First Microsoft Lumia Smartphone 'RM-1090' with Microsoft Branding Photos Leaked via TENAA
The Lumia RM-1090 has made an appearance at TENAA, the Chinese telecommunications equipment certification centre.
Last month, Tuula Rytila, senior vice president of Marketing for Phones at Microsoft confirmed that the Nokia Lumia smartphone will carry the new branding called 'Microsoft Lumia'. Microsoft is expected to unveil the new Microsoft Lumia device soon with the same Lumia experience and showcase the company's popular services such as Office, OneDrive, Skype and Bing.
While there is no information on the official announcement, the Lumia RM-1090 expected to be the first Microsoft Lumia smartphone has been spotted at theTENAA site, offering a sneak peek into how the new Microsoft smartphone will look like.
What's more? The photos of Lumia RM-1090 sports Microsoft branding both on the front and back cover.
The smartphone was previously caught while making its way through FCC in mid-October. The FCC filing disclosed the tech specs of the dual-SIM Lumia RM-1090, according to which the smartphone will sport 5in qHD screen with resolution measuring 960 x 540 pixels. In terms of dimension, the phone measures 140.2 x 72.4 x 9.3mm.
With GSM and 3G+ HSPA connectivity the RM-1090 runs Windows Phone 8.1 and the camera at the back is joined by an LED flash, claims GSMArena.
Having mid-range features, Microsoft will hopefully make the Lumia RM-1090 affordable by charging a reasonable price for it.
