The Flash episode 11 synopsis and promo: Grant Gustin teases big Reverse Flash twist at the end of season 1
The next episode of The Flash will air on Tuesday, 27 January at 8pm on The Cw.
Episode 11 is titled The Sound and the Fury, where Andy Mientus will be seen as the Pied Piper, a meta human who can manipulate sound waves.
The official synopsis for the episode reads:
Dr. Wells' former protégée, Hartley Rathaway (guest star Andrew Mientus), returns to seek revenge on his mentor after being affected by the particle accelerator explosion. Now able to manipulate sound waves, the brilliant Rathaway is a dangerous threat to both Wells and The Flash. Meanwhile, Iris is thrilled when she's hired by the Central City Picture News as their newest cub reporter. Unfortunately, her editor (guest star Tom Butler) pairs her with a veteran reporter, Mason Bridge (guest star Roger Howarth), who wants nothing to do with her. Cisco recalls his first day on the job at S.T.A.R. Labs when he met Hartley and Caitlin. Joe asks Eddie for a favor but asks him to keep it a secret from Barry.
Also, Grant Gustin who plays The Flash has promised a shocking finale twist involving the Reverse Flash.
He told Entertainment Weekly: "Barry is still defending Wells and still trusting of Wells at this point [sic]. There's a big twist that even surprised me. I've seen all the predictions online. No one has predicted the big twist that's coming at the end of this season."
With hints of time travel being reported, is Gustin talking about accidental time travel in episode 15?
Previously, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg told TV Line, "There's an unexpected, accidental time travel coming up and it is played both for hilarity and darkness. It happens in an episode [Episode 15] and we're really excited. It is the first Weather Wizard episode with Liam McIntyre."
The time travel storyline might also give a glimpse into Barry's mother's death, thus revealing what happened on that fateful night.
