'Flawless' - Gigi Hadid bares all in close-up shots from Maybelline campaign and sends fans wild
Hadid, 22, had to miss out on this year's Victoria's Secret fashion show in China following visa issues.
She may have skipped out on the 2017 Victoria's Secret fashion show, but Gigi Hadid is making up for it with her latest business endeavour for cosmetics brand Maybelline.
The 22-year-old model – who is the face of Tommy Hilfiger – shared two outtake snaps from her flawless Gigi x Maybelline campaign for her makeup collaboration with the US company.
The first black and white shot shows Hadid modelling a perfect face of makeup including heavily-lined eyelids with defined and voluminous eyelashes and a matte lip, while she wears a leather jacket slouched on one shoulder with nothing underneath.
The second is merely a close-up of the first picture to show her makeup.
Hadid captioned the post: "#gigixmaybelline outtake ♡ @luigiandiango - thank you for perfectly executing our vision for this campaign. love you my friends!"
One of her 36.9m followers commented: "You don't even need make up!!!" while another put: "You look perfect.............just perfect . Words can't define you".
A third added: "Flawless".
Hadid was left devastated earlier this month after she was denied a visa to China to walk in the Victoria's Secret show, which was based in Shanghai.
She tweeted: "I'm so bummed I won't be able to make it to China this year. Love my VS family, and will be with all my girls in spirit!! Can't wait to tune in with everyone to see the beautiful show I know it will be, and already can't wait for next year! :) x"
Hadid stirred controversy in February when her younger sister Bella posted a video showing the model squinting her eyes as she held up a Buddha biscuit.
She apologised later: "It hurts me to hurt anyone, and I want you all to know that it was never my intent to offend anyone through my actions and I sincerely apologise to those who were hurt or felt let down by me.
"I have the utmost respect and love for the people of China and cherish the incredible memories I have made while visiting in the past."
