Flight MH17 Crash: Twitter Reacts in Shock after Second Malaysia Airlines Tragedy
The ill-fated Malaysia Airlines flight MH17, with 298 people on board was on its way from Amsterdam in the Netherlands to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia when it exploded into flames midair, 32,000 feet above ground and crashed in eastern Ukraine, killing all passengers and crew members on board.
Soon after the tragedy, the Ukrainian military, pro-Russian rebels and Moscow started playing the blame game which came in for severe criticism from the US and the Malaysian government.
Meanwhile, pro-Russian separatists have promised to give safe access to international investigators to the crash site.
The beleaguered airline is facing the second air disaster in five months after the mysterious disappearance of Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 on 8 March, 2014.
The heartbreaking incident triggered instant outpouring of emotions on social media and people soon started posting their condolence messages on Twitter with the hashtag #PrayForMH17.
