Floyd Mayweather Sr: 'I have watched no videos of Manny Pacquiao ahead of fight'
Floyd Mayweather's father has said he has watched no videos of Manny Pacquiao in preparation as the two prepare for their welterweight showdown on 2 May.
Floyd Mayweather Sr, who also serves as his son's trainer, told the press that in the build up to the "Fight of the Century" at the MGM Garden Arena in Las Vegas he had not prepared by watching previous videos of the Filipino fighter.
"To be honest do you think I'm going to go sit down, find some tapes on Manny? I'll be honest with you this one time right now, I'm not looking at nothing. There ain't nothing to look at," he said.
When asked if he had ever done this before, Mayweather Sr responded, "It ain't the first time I've done it, but this time right here is more easy that any time."
Five division world champion Floyd Mayweather will be looking to continue his undefeated professional record, though he faces a tough task against the 36-year-old Filipino.
American television network HBO will be streaming events live on YouTube, with a slated start time of 4pm ET/9pm BST.
The bout itself is available to be purchased in the UK on Sky Sports Box Office.
