Friends Reunion Episode: What Fans Want vs What Cast Says
Last week was Friends' 10-year anniversary. More than 50 million people watched as one of TV's most successful and beloved series ended its 10-season run on 6 May, 2004.
Rumours of a TV reunion episode or a big screen version have been doing the rounds even before the series finale episode aired online. It seems nothing would please fans of the show more than watching their six favourite TV characters back together.
This is what some of the fans have tweeted recently about a possible Friends reunion:

Will we See a Friends Reunion Anytime Soon?
According to the cast and crew, a reunion seems highly unlikely. The actors do not seem inclined towards the idea, and their reasons do seem valid. Here is a roundup of some of the cast members' statements on a 'reunion' (via KpopStarz):
Matt Le Blanc (Joey)
According to Le Blanc, there will be no movie reboot of Friends. "As far as I know, I spoke to David [Crane] about it; it's the case of 'the books better than the movie'.
"That show was about a finite period of time in life, after college and before your relationship and family starts, and where your friends are your support system, and that's what the magic of the show was, everyone goes through that and can relate to that," he said.
In a previous interview, Le Blanc told Entertainment Weekly: "I don't want to see old Joey. I don't want to see Chandler and Monica with their kids that are big now. I'd rather imagine that. Everyone's going to have a different vision of what those characters are like, so to have that materialise is going to disappoint most people... It's better to just let them think."
David Schwimmer (Ross)
Schwimmer first denied rumors in 2008, saying "I'd like to say in regard to the rumors... there's never been any talk of a Friends film." In 2011, Schwimmer reiterated "I really love how it ended. I think it was kind of a perfect ending and I can't see any good reason to revisit it."
Courtney Cox (Monica)
Courtney Cox said during an earlier interview, when asked about the Friends reunion: "Let me tell you something: There's six friends and I've been trying to put together a cast dinner for 10 years. It doesn't happen. I can get the girls to come, maybe Matthew Perry. Matt LeBlanc canceled last time right at the last minute, Schwimmer lives here [in New York City], so it's just not gonna happen."
Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe)
Last year, Kudrow told the LA Times: "There was never a Friends movie. Ever...I've always known it's not happening. The creators have put them to rest. NBC has. I don't know who else needs to say, 'It's really not happening.'"
