Fulham murder: 33-year-old woman killed at flat in Romily Court
Metropolitan Police detectives have launched a murder investigation after a 33-year-old woman was found dead at a flat in Romily Court, Fulham.
Police were called by London Ambulance Service at around 9.30pm on Saturday, 28 March, to the body of a woman found at a flat in Romily Court off Landridge Road, west London.
The 33 -year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene. A 23-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the investigation and has been bailed to return on a date in late May.
Officers believe they know the identity of the deceased, but await formal identification. The woman is not a United Kingdom national and next of kin have not yet been informed.
A post-mortem examination commenced on Sunday, 29 March, at Fulham Mortuary and will continue on Wednesday, 2 April.
An incident room has opened at Lewisham under DCI Rebecca Reeves of the Homicide and Major Crime Command.
DCI Reeves said: "I am appealing for anyone who saw or heard anything unusual or suspicious in Romily Court on Saturday, or in the previous few days, to call police."
