Galaxy Note 3 Neo will get Lollipop update, reaffirms Samsung Netherlands

Galaxy Note 3 Neo users are in for some exciting news, as Samsung Netherlands has recently reconfirmed the arrival of the Lollipop update for the mini version of the Note 3 phablet.

The latest Twitter update from Samsung Netherlands actually reconfirms what Samsung France had tweeted, just a few months ago.

In response to a fan query on Twitter, Samsung Netherlands stated that the Note 3 Neo will soon be receiving the Lollipop update in Netherlands.

Samsung Netherlands has further clarified via Twitter that there is no word on the exact release date for the update in Poland.

On the contrary, Samsung France had earlier opined that the update will certainly be coming to the handset in the near future.

The Note 3 Neo will be a scaled down version of the Galaxy Note 3 with 5.5in 720p display, an Exynos 5260 SoC, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory with microSD expansion slot, 8MP rear and 2MP front cameras and powered by a 3,100 mAh battery.

Those who have not yet received the OTA update notification or cannot wait for its official release in their country or region can try checking for the update manually via Settings > General > About device > Software updates > Check for updates.
