Galaxy S5 G900H (Exynos-Octa) Gets New Performance Enhancing KitKat Update in Europe
Samsung has started rolling out a new performance enhancing update for the Galaxy S5 (SM-G900H) Exynos-powered variant via the latest Android 4.4.2 stock firmware with build number XXU1AGN3, reports SamMobile.
The performance update is already available for download in India and European countries via software updates menu as the latest firmware is being rolled out in phases across different regions of the world.
With a total size of 200MB, the update solely features performance enhancements and can be easily installed via Settings > About phone > Software updates menu.
What's New
The latest update brings a host of new features including cloud printing, white status bar icons, transparent status and navigation bars, full screen album art from the lock screen, a camera app on the lock screen, new Location menu and immersive mode out of the box.
In addition, it brings updated Samsung native apps, changes to TouchWiz UI, performance tweaks, enhanced Samsung Keyboard and more.
On the security front, the new G900HXXU1AGN3 firmware build includes security patches along the lines of Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
