Game of Thrones season 5: First full-length trailer update and season premiere date as filming officially ends
Looks like filming for Game of Thrones Season 5 is officially over.
According to the Game of Thrones news source Winter is Coming, filming for the final scenes took place in Ireland over last week and on Thursday, 11 December, actress Kerry Ingram, who plays Shireen Baratheon on the show, posted a tweet saying "And that's a season wrap..."

With production wrapped, the countdown to the official promo pics and first trailer with actual new footage is on. The Game of Thrones Season 4 trailer was released in January 2014 with the season premiere airing in April.
If HBO follows the same schedule for season 5 [which is quite likely], fans can expect the first full-length trailer of the upcoming season within the next few weeks, perhaps in January 2015.
Meanwhile, during a recent interview, actress Sophie Turner teased details of her role in the upcoming season revealing that her character Sansa Stark will feature in a "super, super traumatic scene".
Vanity Fair speculates that the already ill-fated Sansa "might be the victim of another tragedy, perhaps a sexual assault."
Game of Thrones season 5 is slated for release on 5 April, 2015.
