Gerard Butler and Morgan Brown reportedly split as actor has hard time dealing with female fans

Gerard Butler has reportedly split from his girlfriend of two-and-a-half years, Morgan Brown. Although there is no official statement revealing the reason behind the two parting ways, Page Six has claimed that the couple called it quits after the Scottish actor was getting too much attention from his female fans.

"Girls throw themselves at him. It's hard for him to constantly say, 'No. Get away from me. I have a girlfriend'," the website quoted a source as citing the reason behind their alleged split.

The London Has Fallen actor was last spotted with the 39-year-old interior designer in mid-November. In summer this year, they were photographed together during on a romantic boat ride in Capri, Italy.

In 2014, Butler made his relationship public with the former model during a beach vacation. He was previously in a relationship with Romanian model Madalina Ghenea. However, the 47-year-old Hollywood star has never spoken about his relationships in public.

Butler, who is a massive female fan base, had earlier admitted of having "fun" with The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville without knowing that she was a celebrity as well. "Here's the thing. You're at a beach party, you're having fun and this girl comes along. So, what do you do?' She says, 'Doesn't matter'. We hung out. We had a little bit of fun," he said during The Howard Stern Show on Sirius XM Radio.
