Get ready to become Kate and Prince William's new neighbours — but there is a catch
A two-bedroom cottage is available for rent near Kate and Prince William's Anmer Hall, although conditions apply
It is not every day that you get to live right next to royals. A two-bedroom unfurnished property is available for rent in Anmer, West Norfolk — almost close to the royal couple's Georgian mansion, Anmer Hall. The mansion was a wedding present to Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge from the Queen herself.
The newly renovated unfurnished home will be available for £700 a month, but there is one condition: cats are not allowed. But dogs may still be considered.
The cottage has been listed by the Sandringham Estate which also has rental properties across 13 villages between Wolferton and Bircham. This property is complete with a garden, off-road parking, though beware of steep stairs.
The area has only 29 houses and a population of just 63 people, reported Metro. Particularly, the duke and duchess spent around £1.5 million to renovate Anmer Hall before moving in 2013.
The Sandringham Estate is looking to prioritise residents already living or working in that area, but people relocating to Norfolk will also be considered. The advertisement mentions that there is no first come, first serve rule but, 'rather on which prospective tenant is best suited to the property.'
