Gigi Hadid posts cosy pics with 'special' Zayn Malik as she mourns loss of pet cat

A heartbroken Gigi Hadid has posted a picture of herself cuddling up to her cat and boyfriend Zayn Malik after reporting that her beloved pet had died. The model published the photo with a sad face and an angel emoji and wrote: "We love you always chub."

Only last month the 20-year-old shared a snap of the singer lying down with the ginger cat sprawled out by his head. Another image shows a topless shot of Zayn cradling the cat.

The Victoria's Secret model who was mourning the loss of her beloved pet no doubt found comfort in the arms of Malik, who she recently described as her "special someone."

When asked who she first spoke to about her recent Sports Illustrated swimsuit shots, Gigi replied: "I texted my special someone, I always get excited about the pictures... He obviously liked the pictures."

Rumours that Perrie Edwards' former boyfriend and Hadid are romantically involved started after he and the 20-year-old model were spotted in the same car following the American Music Awards after-party at The Nice Guy club in LA in November 2015.

The 23-year-old singer released Pillow Talk on 29 January, featuring Hadid. In the song's music video, the former British boy band member shared steamy kisses with Hadid, confirming their relationship.
