Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik break up after dating for 7 months

Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik have apparently called it quits after dating for seven months, according to some reports. The duo's break-up reports come just a day after Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift ended their 15-month-old relationship.

According to E! News, the former One Direction member and the model decided to part ways after facing some rough patches in their relationship. TMZ has also reported on the split.

"During her birthday they were fighting," a source told E!News. "[Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik have] broken up and got back together a few times," the source added.

HollywoodLife reported that Malik dumped Hadid just weeks after her 21st birthday.

"Zayn broke the news to Gigi two weeks after her birthday," the gossip site reported (via Life & Style).

However, another source told E!News that the two could get back together in the near future.

"Zayn and Gigi did break up, but they can likely get back together tomorrow. It's all very unclear what's going on between them now. They been having some issues lately that involved communication and getting along."

"Gigi is really sad about this, though, and in a way would like to work it out. It's more about that constant contact with Zayn that she misses and they did get very close."

Earlier Malik was engaged to Perrie Edwards, who he split from in August, while Hadid broke up with Joe Jonas in November.

Malik and Hadid are yet to confirm the break-up reports.
