British singer/songwriter Rita Ora dazzled in red on the Pyramid Stage during the third day of the Glastonbury Festival in Somerset. The 22-year-old former X-Factor judge was making her first appearance at the event, one of the largest music festivals in the world.
"I am so looking forward to it but, wow, I am nervous! I mean, Glastonbury is probably the biggest moment of my career so far," she said ahead of her performance, adding, "It's so huge and so iconic, so it's on my mind a lot right now. I feel so honoured that they've asked me, as a pop act, to be part of the bill considering the line-up this year."
"I'm definitely going to deliver a full-on set, we've been planning it for a while now and rehearsing hard. I'm both seriously nervous and excited. But bring it on!"
As she performed her hits, including R.I.P., How We Do (Party) and Hot Right Now, her interesting costume choice - a long tasselled red dress - was also a treat for fans.
"We did it!!!!!!!! Glastonbury my life has changed forever!!!!!! Thank you!!! Pyramid stage! Main Stage!!! Thank you!!'" she tweeted later.
Tickets to the 2013 Glastonbury festival cost £205 each and sold out in a record 100 minutes, despite the festival's reputation for being one of the muddiest and wettest anywhere in the world!
Meanwhile, the Rolling Stones will mark their 50 years together on the Pyramid Stage on Saturday night.
