Google Chrome for Android updated: Users can search for unknown terms with a single tap
Google has updated its Chrome Browser for Android mobile platform, which incorporates a plethora of enhancements.
They are as follows:
- Search from any webpage with just a tap: This feature enables users to find additional information about unknown words/phrases, with just a single tap on the screen. All users need to do is just tap on the unknown word to open up new websites containing the meaning of the word.
- Faster checkout: This feature allows users to securely checkout data forms from Google Wallet.
- Multiple gestures: Users can open multiple tabs and flip through these on the toolbar.
Apart from the above features, Chrome for Android also has the following enhancements:
- Sync Across Devices – Seamlessly access and open tabs and bookmarks from your laptop, phone or tablet.
- Save Data – Reduce mobile data usage by up to 50% while browsing
- Faster Browsing – Choose from search results that instantly appear as you type and quickly access previously visited pages.
- Voice Search – Use the magic of Google voice search to find answers on-the-go without typing.
- Translate – Easily read webpages in any language.
- Intuitive Gestures – Open as many tabs as you desire and flip through them by swiping from side to side on the toolbar.
- Privacy – Use Incognito mode to browse without saving your history .
Google's updated Chrome browser for Android is available for download on the official Play Store.
