Grammy Awards 2013: Mumford & Sons, Gotye and FUN. Big Winners at the Event [WINNERS LIST][PHOTOS]

British folk band Mumford & Sons, Gotye and FUN. were the big winners at the 55th annual Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

"We figured we weren't going to win because the Black Keys have been sweeping up all day - and deservedly so," Mumford & Sons front man Marcus Mumford said after receiving the gong. They picked up two Grammys, including the coveted album of the year for Babel.

Australian singer Gotye won three awards, including Record of the Year for his hit Somebody That I Used to Know featuring New Zealand singer Kimbra. Rapper Jay-Z and Kanye West won three gongs, two for their collaboration N****s in Paris and one for their song Mercy, which also featured R&B singer Frank Ocean.

The star studded event saw performances by Elton John, Ed Sheeran, Alicia Keys, Maroon 5, Bruno Mars and Rihanna.
