Grammy Awards 2015: Most controversial and outrageous outfits on the red carpet through the years
Glamourous celebrities will be attending the 57th annual Grammy Awards on 8 February at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
Over the years, the music night has seen a number of celebrities in sophisticated gowns and some others in crazy ensembles.
In 2000, Jennifer Lopez arrived at the Grammy Awards dressed in a palm-print sheer silk chiffon Versace dress. The following year, Toni Braxton came in a Richard Tyler white dress - exposing perhaps far too much of her body.
In 2012, Russian-born American singer/songwriter Sasha Michailovna Antonova, known by her stage name Sasha Gradiva, wore a pink prom gown dress with guns attached to it.
With the growing number of wardrobe malfunctions and nip-slips every year, CBS officials issued a Wardrobe Advisory in 2013, asking performers and personalities to come cover up at the event.
"Please be sure that buttocks and female breasts are adequately covered," the statement read. "Thong type costumes are problematic. Please avoid exposing bare fleshy under curves of the buttocks and buttock crack. Bare sides or under curvature of the breasts is also problematic. Please avoid sheer see-through clothing that could possibly expose female breast nipples. Please be sure the genital region is adequately covered so that there is no visible "puffy" bare skin exposure. Please avoid commercial identification of actual brand name products on T-shirts. Foreign language on wardrobe will need to be cleared. OBSCENITY OR PARTIALLY SEEN OBSCENITY ON WARDROBE IS UNACCEPTABLE FOR BROADCAST. This as well, pertains to audience members that appear on camera. Finally, The Network requests that any organized cause visibly spelled out on talent's wardrobe be avoided. This would include lapel pins or any other form of accessory."
