'Is that the CCPD building lift? much excited for season 4,' commented a fan.
Actor Grant Gustin has shared hilarious photos of Barry Allen from The Flash season 4 sets, which features the actor sleeping in elevators and on tables after the end of a 9-day shoot.
In the first pic shared on Instagram, Gustin is seen taking a nap inside an elevator, and he is seen sleeping in planking style on top a desk in as the cast and crew look on. He captioned the post saying, "Friday. The end of a 9 day shoot with @cavanaghtom directing me. "
Fans of The CW superhero series are excited to see Barry Allen back from Speed Force. A user wrote, "Barry out of speed force confirmed," another commented, "Somebody got out of the speed force yaay ".
"Get excited because I'm literally wearing my flash hoodie and socks AHHH Why is there no jumping for joy emoji lol" read a comment. Most fans sympathised with Gustin's tough filming schedule. One user said, "I get you, bro, this would be me after one day of shooting " another pointed out, "Only you can you sleep on a desk but I really love you for that."
"Nice one bro flash season 4. You look exhausted. Working so hard. Rest well bro. Keep up the good work. Fans appreciate your hard work. Best Barry Allen," commented a fan. Some fans even believe that Gustin is bringing back 2004's viral fad planking. "Homeboy really planking in 2017 #respect " wrote a user, while another noted "Omg Planking is not dead!!!❤️"
"Planking Grant Gustin Edition," noted an Instagram user. A self-proclaimed "biggest" fan of Gustin asked, "Is that the CCPD building lift? much excited for season 4 #TheFlash@grantgust #yourbiggestfan."
Previously, Gustin has revealed that fans will see a different Barry, following his return from Speed Force, at San Diego Comic-Con in July. He said, "For Barry it hasn't really been six months. In the Speed Force time is kind nonlinear, and I think this experience in the speed force has been different for him."
"I think when he comes out, he's kind of had this awakening and understanding of things that he's never had before, and he's able to let go of a lot of things," the actor added.
The Flash season 4 returns Tuesday (10 October) at 8pm EST on The CW network.
