GTA 5 DLC: Expected release announcement, new game modes and more
Well-known YouTuber MrBossFTW aka Ross sheds some light on the probable release window for the upcoming DLC in GTA 5 in his latest gameplay video for GTA Online. It has been four weeks since the release of the last DLC, Festive Surprise 2.0, and we have not seen any major updates being released for the game.
Prolific GTA tipster Funmw2 aka TezFunz2 has provided some information that suggests an impending DLC is just around the corner. To be precise, we could expect the Lowriders 2.0 or Festive Surprise 3.0 update as early as next week.

In his recent post on GTA forums, Funmw2 has stated that Rockstar has recently updated their test servers with qabeta2 files, which are often rolled out just ahead of any DLC release. As Ross explains, Rockstar had earlier released a similar qabeta1 update to their servers, just before the release of Lowriders DLC.
Funmw2 had earlier hinted that the Lowriders DLC would be coming out in just over five days after the qabeta1 files leaked online and the prediction has indeed come true. Now the game testers are reportedly testing the actual content for the next DLC on their test systems to ensure there are no glitches and bugs in the final or public release of the update.
Some of the most-anticipated DLCs for the Christmas holiday season include Lowriders DLC 2.0, Apartments Customisation DLC and Festive Surprise 3.0 or Christmas DLC. Furthermore, it is ascertained that Rockstar's official confirmation regarding the forthcoming DLC can be expected only by next week.
Although there is no clarity on the content of the forthcoming DLC, it is almost certain that it will feature a couple of adversary game modes including Extraction and Beast vs Slasher. The recent GTA Online update has introduced the 'Every Bullet Counts' game mode in line with earlier rumours.
Besides, Ross adds that the social club links pertaining to Extraction, and Beast vs Slasher modes were newly removed along with their associated game files in the recent title update for GTA Online. If there is any truth to the rumours, then we could expect some major DLC release by next week in GTA Online.
