GTA 5 Heist DLC: Patch 1.14 Money Glitches, Timeout Issues and Mods Fixed in GTA Online
Rockstar Games is widely expected to release the highly-anticipated GTA 5 Heist DLC (aka 1.14 update) in the next few days, while a discerning GTA 5 tipster, DomisLive, reveals numerous money glitches, timeout issues and mods that will be fixed in the upcoming 1.14 patch.
Given Rockstar's promise to release the Heist DLC as part of spring updates, we are left with less than a week's time before the end of spring season.
If the game developer fails to release the Heists within the promised time frame then the DLC could actually be delayed, notes the tipster.
With just a few days left for the expected release of the Heists DLC, there are a few key tasks to be carried out by Rockstar including fixing of bugs and glitches in the game, sorting out server timeout issues and a bunch of Mod exploits in GTA Online.
First up in the priority tasks list for Rockstar is the Infinity UFO mod glitch which has been spreading across lobbies through infected computer systems. This could result in server overloads due to wastage of resources and also lead to unexpected crashes.
The UFO mod seems to have been seeded by some hackers through a modded lobby that has resulted in spawning of meteorites, UFOs and random couches in several instances of GTA Online.
Besides, there seems to be a crazy sex animation mod which allows random modders to animate couples having sex (referred to as humping) in a lobby.
The third mod doing the rounds is a dance off glitch mod which allows any modder to gather everybody in the room to perform a dance show.
Though the mods are fun to play with, they could interrupt serious gameplay for some discerning gamers who do not wish to participate in such pranks.
Next up in the priority list is the unexpected server timeout issues wherein GTA Online players are randomly getting disconnected for no apparent reason.
Several affected users have been flooding various forums including Rockstar support forums with complaints regarding the same, while the tipster himself admits that he has been seeing random errors like "server unavailable" whenever he tries to start a new online session in GTA 5.
Quite strangely, Dom also emphasises that he has never been affected by timeout issues, despite the ensuing server connection errors.
Furthermore, the tipster asserts that numerous gamers are reportedly losing money from their accounts in GTA Online. This means Rockstar should have kicked off its initiative to curb the menace with unlimited money and several other glitches being exploited by greedy gamers.
One of Dom's friends has apparently lost all his fortune and is now left with just $40,000 after what seems to be a massive cleanup drive by Rockstar.
The tipster cautions ambitious gamers to stay away from DNS modded money and modded RP glitches as Rockstar has taken a tough stance through account suspensions/bans and massive in-game penalties such as demoting rankings or removing RP points or resetting account balance to zero against repeated defaulters.
Update: I'm not a Hipster update is now available via Rockstar servers for download. It brings all the new weapons, cars and clothing rumoured earlier including new retro print tees, skinny jeans, hairstyles, tattoos, animal masks and more; Glendale, Warrener, Blade and Rhapsody as affordable cars, besides Panto microcar and 3-Axle 6-seater Dubsta, Vintage Pistol and Antique Cavalry Dagger as new weapons.
