GTA 5 Online Players Being Banned for Using Money Glitches: Rockstar Using Undercover Gamers to Spot Cheaters
If information from YouTuber DomisLive is to be believed, then Rockstar is no longer tolerating players who use and promote money glitches on GTA 5.
According to new information from the YouTuber, Rockstar has banned numerous YouTubers who are known for discovering money glitches. The list includes popular names like Lispy jimmy, Dynasty, Sernando, Sir Weed, Glitch Master and others.
He also went on to add that Rockstar has been quick to bring out hot fixes for glitches featured in many of the recent money glitch videos. The developer could be paying a lot of attention to YouTube videos featuring money glitches, since they happen to be the point of origin for information on new exploits for fresh updates.
Apart from this, Domis and a few other YouTubers are now claiming that Rockstar has undercover gamers in GTA Online who have been tasked with banning people for performing money glitches. This has been mainly reported in public lobbies.
Gamers are now being advised to stay away from money glitches on GTA Online since Rockstar has started coming down hard on the game's cheaters.
Apart from making money on every copy of GTA 5 that it sells, Rockstar also rakes in revenues from selling in-game items such as Shark cards, which give players large amounts of in-game currency.
For a long time now, gamers have been requesting Rockstar to give them a better means of making money on GTA Online. The game's purported Heist DLC is expected to have payouts as large as $1.5m in the game's currency for those who successfully finish them.
