GTA 5 Online server issues: Players start losing apartments and cars

The internet is abuzz with news of GTA Online server issues that are hampering the gameplay experience, as players are reportedly losing their properties including their most-cherished apartments and cars, owing to some game-breaking glitch.

Renowned YouTuber DomisLive (aka Dom) sheds further light on the ensuing chaos in GTA Online, as some players are unable to invite their friends online, besides losing their prized possessions.

It is ascertained that the game-breaking glitch is predominantly affecting both the last-gen and current-gen gaming systems including the PS4 and Xbox One.

Unlike in the past, the current-gen consoles are no longer spared from these game-breaking glitches that were formerly constrained to last-gen consoles.

Dom also points to a screenshot (shared by another YouTuber, TwoDynamic) depicting the consequences of the glitch, wherein the gamers are unable to send invites to friends or join an existing online session in GTA Online.

The second screenshot (see below) from Dom's YouTube buddy, iCrazyTeddy, reveals an empty garage with all his prized possessions gone or disappeared.

As Dom clarifies, iCrazyTeddy just got lucky as he got back all his cars after joining a new online session.

This underlines the fact that it could be the handiwork of some modders or hackers with the intent of messing up the game and creating chaos in GTA Online.
