Police launch murder probe after teen is stabbed in Homerton

Police have launched a murder enquiry after a boy aged in his mid-teens was stabbed to death on Homerton High Street in Hackney on Tuesday night.

It happened at around 11.40pm. The attacker fled the scene.

Paramedics and an air ambulance rushed to give aid but the victim died soon afterwards from his injuries.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said there have been no arrests so far.
