Emma Watson has parted ways with her long-term boyfriend William Adamowicz.

A spokesperson for the 23-year-old British actress confirmed the news to the Daily Mirror, stating, "Emma and Will separated last summer and are no longer in touch."

Watson, who is well known for her role as Hermoine Granger in the Harry Potter films, and Adamowicz met at Oxford in 2011. The two are said to have split due to Watson's hectic film schedule.

The news came after a photo of Adamowicz with some suspicious white powder leaked on the Internet.

The image showed Adramowicz with packets of white powder and dollar bills. The picture, which is no longer available, was captioned "HNY [Happy New Year] - with Will Adamowicz."

However, Adamowicz has denied that there are drugs in the photo.

"The picture is not compromising. It is not what you think. They are not packages. They are not drugs. They are just bits of scrap paper. I don't take any drugs," he told Mirror.

The Bling Ring actress, who is always tight-lipped about her personal life, had earlier spoken of what she looks for in a man.

"You always think that the guy is going to end up coming around and that you're going to be the one that saves him - like the Oasis song," she told the UK edition of Glamour magazine. "Actually, I don't think that you can change other people, but women always hope for the best."
