Hart of Dixie cancelled? Jaime King says 'it is a tricky situation', thanks devoted fans for support
Hart of Dixie managed to tie all the loose ends in the finale episode of season 4 and pulled off a satisfactory end for the lead couple on the show, but fans of the southern charmer are still hoping to see season five.
Jaime King, who plays Lemon on The CW show dished out some details about the future of Hart of Dixie.
"It's a tricky situation because it really isn't about ratings for us," King told E!Online.
"It's not like a ratings issue it was more of a timing issue. Rachel Bilson got pregnant and wanted to take a maternity leave. Every woman has a right to do that. I think that everything has an impact on the ways things are decided upon. It's very interesting because our fans are so devoted," she added.
King also expressed her love for the show, and explained how sometimes she forgets that the season has wrapped, and she is not needed on the sets.
"It's really interesting, because when my son wakes up in the middle of the night, immediately I'm like, Oh! It's time for me to go to set!" she revealed. "It makes me want to cry because I love this show so much. It's still a success. It's really whatever the universe has in store. Either way, it's been such a gift."
Meanwhile, E!News has launched its Save One Show campaign, which gives fans a chance to save a TV series, which is being cancelled.
Hart Of Dixie and the ABC drama series Agent Carter are the two show that fans want to see more of. A winner from the two is yet to be announced.
