Here is why Miley Cyrus will never walk the red carpet again
Although Cyrus will not be seen on the red carpet, fans of the songstress can watch her as a judge on The Voice.
Miley Cyrus has said that she will never walk the red carpet again as she feels "people are starving", while she is attending glamorous events. The Wrecking Ball hit-maker last walked the red carpet at premiere of Bill Murray's A Very Murray Christmas.
Cyrus had sported a white skirt with high heels, while she wore hair in dreadlock buns at the event.
"[A year ago] I had to do the [A Very Murray Christmas] premiere, and I will never do a red carpet again. Why, when people are starving, am I on a carpet that's red? Because I'm 'important'? Because I'm 'famous'? That's not how I roll. It's like a skit – it's like Zoolander," the songstress told Ellemagazine.
During the interview, Cyrus also talked about Liam Hemsworth, whom she first started dating in 2009 after meeting on the sets of The Last Song. In 2012, the pair got engaged but split in 2013. However, the couple reignited their romance in December 2015 and are rumoured to be planning to tie the knot.
"No. I want to be. I don't know how to use it. I feel like I'll be an old lady that's too held back, because I don't keep up with it. I'm not on Pokémon Go. [This morning] Liam woke up and tried to go to the car wash because it was a – what do you call it? – PokéSpot. Like, 'Got to go find them and catch them all! Ahh'," she said.
Although Cyrus will not walk on the red carpet again, fans of the songstress can watch her on The Voice. Cyrus is one of the judges on the music talent show and recently dished out some advice to the contestants.
"...I don't want this to come off the wrong way, but I'm going to tell my contestants: Be Bernie Sanders. Be the person people want and love. Don't worry about the masses. That's how you make a memorable moment. Let people talk about it," she said.
