Here's why Eminem never made his dating life public despite his divorce 11 years ago

In case you come across Slim Shady on Tinder, it just might be the real Eminem. More than 10 years after he called it quits on his marriage to high school sweetheart Kimberly Anne Scott, the rapper opened up about his dating life and seemed quite open to the idea of online dating apps to find love again.

When asked if he has dated in a while, the 45-year-old Rap God star didn't hesitate to admit that he actually had enjoyed a few dates, but at the same time added that it has been "tough".

"Since my divorce, I've had a few dates and nothing's panned out in a way that I wanted to make it public. Dating's just not where I'm at lately," Eminem told Vulture, breaking his silence on his private life.

The Lose Yourself singer, who was married to Kimberly between 1999 and 2006, divorced his ex for the second time almost 11 years ago. Since the split, though, the singer hasn't been in any romantic relationship that's known to the public. But if his words are any indication, he had been on the lookout for love and had even made a few trips to strip clubs.

"When you were dating, how'd you meet people? Tinder?" asked the interviewer, to which the rapper replied positively, adding on a humorous note, "And Grindr. I also used to go to strip clubs.

"Going to strip clubs is how I was meeting some chicks. It was an interesting time for me," the singer-songwriter added.

He may not have been on a dating spree or flaunting his relationships in public, but Eminem assured that he is not lonely.

"Am I lonely?" he responded in rhetoric when asked if fame has been a solitary experience for him. "No, I'm good. Thanks for asking though."

Eminem and his 42-year-old ex-wife share daughter Hailie Jade from their marriage, who is all set to ring in her 21st birthday on Christmas Day. Besides Hailie, the rapper is also guardian to Whitney, Kimberly's daughter from a previous relationship, and Alaina, the daughter of Kimberly's late sister Dawn.
