How to enable WhatsApp Web feature on jailbroken iPhone
Apple iPhone users are in for some exciting news, as it is now possible to enjoy WhatsApp's Web interface on an iPhone, using a jailbreak tweak called WhatsApp Web Enabler.
The WhatsApp Web feature was limited to Android users until now. But, the advent of the Web Enabler tool for WhatsApp in iOS lets you continue your conversation from a web browser on your desktop.
The only caveat for using this tool is that your iPhone must be jailbroken on the latest iOS software with latest iteration of WhatsApp installed on it.
Folks at iDownloadBlog have shared a simple step-by-step guide to accomplish this feat on any jailbroken iPhone:
Step 1: Download the latest version of WhatsApp for iOS and install it on your iPhone. Note: It is recommended that you add the repo: http://cydia.angelxwind.net to the list of Cydia sources to install AppSync tweak, before you install the WhatsApp beta on your phone.
Step 2: Launch Cydia and look for the WhatsApp Web Enabler tweak and install it.
Step 3: Open Settings app and go to WhatsApp Web Enabler's preferences. Then enable the tweak from there.
Step 4: Force-quit WhatsApp and reopen it.
Step 5: Tap on the Settings tab and select WhatsApp Web and then hit "OK. Got it."
Step 6: Launch the web browser on your desktop computer (only Chrome, Firefox and Opera are supported while Safari is unsupported).
Step 7: Just focus your iPhone to read the QR code on the desktop's browser and then you should be automatically signed into the WhatsApp Web interface.
