How to install Oxygen OS 2.0.1 OTA or full ROM on OnePlus 2
OnePlus has issued a new update to the Oxygen OS with version 2.0.1 for the OnePlus 2. The OTA update, including a slew of fixes and improvements, starts with India and should be available in other regions soon.
Those who are yet to receive the OTA notification can now install the update manually on their OnePlus 2 as the download links for both OTA and the full ROM are available. The full ROM weighs at 1.1GB whereas the OTA is at 40MB. Nevertheless, the installation is the same for both the files. But note that you should be on stock recovery.

How to install Oxygen OS 2.0.1 on OnePlus One
Step-1: Transfer the downloaded update file to the phone and remember the location. You can also download the update directly to your phone
Step-2: Boot the phone into recovery mode
Switch off the phone and wait for a few seconds until the screen goes off completely
Press the Power and Volume buttons together until some text appears on the screen
Using the Volume button, scroll down to the recovery mode option
Press the Power button to select it. Your phone will now boot into recovery mode
Step-3: While in recovery mode, use the Volume button to navigate to 'install update' and press the Power button to select it
Step-4: Browse to the folder where you have saved the downloaded Oxygen OS 2.0.1 file, select it and confirm installation
If the OTA file does not install using the above method, you may use the full ROM. This should install without any problem.
Step-5: The update should now start installing
Step-6: Upon completion of the installation, select Reboot system now to reboot the phone
Your OnePlus 2 should now be ready to use with latest Oxygen OS version on board.
