How to install PlayStation and N64 emulator to play console games on iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch
Avid gamers can now transition their gameplay experience from a console platform to iOS by installing PlayStation and the N64 emulator on their iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, using the simple step-by-step guide given below.
What you will need
In order to support console gameplay on iOS, you will need the RetroArch app (download via Cydia) and your device should be jailbroken on the latest iOS 8 firmware.
Steps to install PlayStation and N64 emulator to play console games on iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch
Step 1: Launch Cydia app via the device's home screen and wait until it is completely loaded
Step 2: Then tap the Search button
Step 3: Now type in 'RetroArch,' and when the tweak appears in the list tap it once to select it
Step 4: You will now be redirected to the RetroArch Cydia page. Now tap the Modify button on the top right corner of the screen, and then hit Install
Step 5: Once the tweak installs on your device, browse for the app on the home screen and launch it
Step 6: Once you have confirmed that the newly installed app is functional, tap the Home button
Step 7: Open Safari, and browse for your favourite PlayStation / N64 title and download its ROM
Step 8: Finally, launch the emulator and then hit the 'Load Content' button to load the ROM
Step 9: Choose the desired ROM and then select the appropriate emulator (PlayStation or N64) depending on the type of game you want to play. For instance, if you want to run Super Smash Bros, you will need to select the N64 emulator
