How to jailbreak iOS 8.0-8.1.2 untethered on iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch via TaiG v1.2.0 (Windows and Mac)
TaiG, the new Chinese jailbreak developer team, has just rolled out its updated version of iOS 8.x jailbreak tool, TaiG v1.2.0, for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, following Apple's recent release of iOS 8.1.2 update for iOS devices.
The new iOS 8.1.2 update brings a bunch of bug-fixes over the previous release and also addresses a known issue wherein recently purchased ringtones through iTunes Store may inadvertently get erased from your device.
Initial reports on the internet have clarified that the iOS 8.1.2 update does not patch the kernel exploit being used by TaiG to jailbreak iOS 8.1.1, which is great news for prospective iOS 8 jailbreak users.
Those who have recently updated to iOS 8.1.2 can go ahead and re-jailbreak their device with the updated TaiG v1.2.0 jailbreak tool by using the step-by-step guide posted below for Windows and Mac.
