Specs leaked so far
There have been numerous leaks claiming to reveal the hardware and software features of the Galaxy Note 7 ahead of the official unveiling. It is suggested that Samsung's phablet will sport a 5.7in Super AMOLED screen with QHD resolution at 1440 x 2560 pixels. Powering the handset could be a Snapdragon 823 chip featuring a quad-core processor complimented by either 4GB or 6GB RAM.
Other premonitions claim a 12 megapixel camera at the back and a five megapixel front-facing camera while recent reports suggest it may come with an iris scanner and a 4000mAh battery. Speculation has also hinted the device will bundle a new storage service called Samsung Cloud and while likely resistant to water and dust it may also be protected by Corning's newly launched Gorilla Glass 5.
