How to track Fallout 4 progress with new app and ensure you do everything in Bethesda's huge RPG
Bethesda's Fallout 4 is an enormous game players have been losing themselves in since the game launched in November 2015. There's almost too much to keep track of, so in an effort to help players see and do everything there is to do, one fan has created a useful app.
Reddit user Krylosac has released an unofficial Fallout 4 Checklist app for PC that all players – regardless of if they're playing on PS4, Xbox One or PC – will find incredibly useful. The desktop app includes a quest tracker, as well as a detailed map of the game's New England setting users can click on to reveal available items in specific areas and then keep track of what they've discovered.
You can see screenshots of the app in use here and can download it from GitHub here. Safe to say some Reddit users were happy about the app's existence. "I feel like I should kiss you," said one. "You're doing the lord's work. May atom bless you," said another.
Krylosac will have his work cut out over the next year, as Bethesda releases new updates and expansions for the post-apocalyptic RPG. In February Bethesda revealed its smaller Automatron and Wasteland Workshop expansions, as well as its hefty Far Harbour expansion, which will add a large new area to the game.
