Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean Update Rolling Out For HTC One in Europe
Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean software update brings several feature enhancements and bug fixes for HTC One
The official rollout of Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update for HTC One users in Europe has started.
A few days ago, the update was rolled out for the dual-SIM variant of the HTC One and following this HTC One owners from Taiwan received a similar update.
HTC Source now claims that HTC One users from northern Europe have received a similar software update which brings Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, with build number 2.24.709.1, for HTC One which was first shipped with Android 4.1.2.
The Android 4.2.2 update, at 417MB, follows a smaller update of 1.48MB which needs to be installed first.
Users in Russia, Denmark, Georgia, Norway, Sweden, Romania, Serbia, United Kingdom and Finland claim to have downloaded and installed the Android 4.2.2 update. Several members of the XDA forum also confirmed the update.
Those who live in any of the aforementioned European countries and have not received the update, can manually grab it by navigating to Settings>> About>> Software updates>> Check now. The upgrade integrates several major enhancements and also addresses bug issues for HTC One.
