HTC One Max Specifications Leaked Ahead of 15 October Launch
Global launch for HTC One Max to be held on 15 October
A complete list of technical specifications for HTC's upcoming large-screen smartphone, widely known as One Max, has been leaked ahead of its official launch.
Steve Hemmerstoffer, editor at Nowhereelse.fr has posted a photo, bearing the full specification list for the HTC One Max, on Twitter. The new set of specs matches with the rumoured versions.
According to the listing, HTC One Max will feature a 5.9in full HD screen with resolution measuring 1920 x 1080 pixels. The handset will be 144.5 mm tall by 70.5mm wide by 10.6mm thick. It weighs just 130g with the battery. The device has a microSIM card slot and also space for a 32GB microSD card.
In terms of connectivity, the HTC One Max will offer Bluetooth v4.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n. It will support HSDPA and HSUPA network speeds. Besides, the spec list suggests that One Max will be a Near Field Communication (NFC) enabled handset. HTC Beats Audio is also listed among one of the features.
It will use a quad-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz, paired with 2GB of RAM. The device will run on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and feature HTC Sense v5.5. Among other key features, the HTC One Max is expected to have a 3,200mAh battery and fingerprint sensor, notes PhoneArena.
Following this leak, HTC has sent out invitation for a product launch event which is scheduled to be held in Taiwan on 18 October and in Hong Kong on 16 September. The global launch of the product will reportedly take place in China on 15 October, notes Engadget. The invitation does not reveal much about the name and details of the product and it just read,
"One finger opens a big view
You are invited to immerse in the sound with us."
The HTC One Max is expected to make its international debut at the launch event.
